The talking intro instantly captures your attention as the Renfro team layers the muscular horns and rattling percussion soon to be swamped by girls (The Sequins) and male group choruses, Ronald Saunders, Louis Smith, Roy Bledsoe, & Robert Jones

Wow what a tune, nothing is gonna stand in its way from bulldozing any old n'tired Top 500 tune out the way. This is a most-wonderful example of male-vocal group Northern Soul on a mission to recapture its former "Top Of The World" Stafford glory days.

Flip it over to fall into the vocal-group abyss of utter jaw-dropping excellence as Morris and buddies treat us to the vast expanse of his vocal range, cradled by his teammates and Helen Moore guided by the sympathetic arrangement skills of L.A. master of the console Ray Jackson.
