Today we celebrate the birth anniversary of Dr. Narinder Singh Kapany — visionary physicist, inventor, entrepreneur, artist, and philanthropist — widely known as the Father of Fiber Optics.
His pioneering work transformed global communication, while his lifelong dedication to Sikh arts, culture, and education continues to inspire generations around the world.
This year, his legacy is being marked through community celebrations at the BIS Institute in Moga, Punjab (@BISInstituteMoga) and a new educational lesson plan by @SikhCoalition, designed to help students discover his groundbreaking contributions to science and Sikh heritage.
