Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land is a remake of Kirby's Adventure for the Game Boy Advance. The game follows the journey of the titular character, Kirby, in his home of Dream Land.

The plot begins when the Star Rod, the source of all dreams in Dream Land, is stolen by King Dedede and broken into seven pieces. Dedede then distributes the pieces among his loyal minions. As a result, the residents of Dream Land are unable to dream.

Kirby, determined to restore peaceful nights to his friends and neighbors, sets off to retrieve the Star Rod pieces from Dedede's minions. As Kirby progresses through various levels, he battles and defeats Dedede's minions, recovering the pieces one by one.

After collecting all the pieces and restoring the Star Rod, Kirby returns it to the Fountain of Dreams. However, it is then revealed that Dedede had a good reason for breaking the Star Rod: he was trying to seal away Nightmare, an evil entity who was corrupting the dreams of Dream Land's residents.

With the Star Rod restored, Nightmare is freed. Kirby, using the power of the Star Rod, confronts and defeats Nightmare, saving Dream Land. The game ends with Kirby returning the Star Rod to the Fountain of Dreams, restoring peaceful dreams to all of Dream Land.
