Описание: To shine a spotlight on the urgent need for more trained service dogs for military veterans living with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), this session, sponsored by Nestle Purina, features two experts who are incredibly knowledgeable about training service dogs for military veterans. Nicole Lanahan, Executive Director of "Got Your Six" Support Dogs, and Dr. Jeremy Ramirez, U.S. Army Veteran and Assistant Professor at California State University Long Beach, and a Program Integrator for the Wounded Warrior Service Dog Program, will talk about how a well-trained service dog can make a life-saving difference for veterans, and the important efforts of those in the public and private sectors who are working together to make a meaningful difference.
