Magic is in the little things- let’s make a dress out of curtains

Описание: I have been so inspired by the whimsical idea of turning curtain and making into something it was never suppose to be! So many characters I love have done the same and today it was my turn!
I have been thinking a lot about being free in creating new pieces of art, whether it's sewing, painting, or whatever. I know it can be difficult to shine our unique lights when it's easy to believe we are not worthy, good enough, or feel like there is no point to it.
Something I am learning that maybe we can just create for the joy of creating rather than the outcome or if the world sees it. Please share your thoughts below if you have something ton add! I think together we can uplift and encourage one another in so many beautiful ways.


I hope this video can encourage you- this is certainly something I need to hear- to push myself beyond who I think I need to be and what I think I am suppose to create as an artist.

About the dress:
-Pattern was one I found a thrift store, looks like a impiety pattern from the 90s.
-The ruffle is just a large rectangle that I gathered into the hem! Such a simple way to add whimsy to any dress/skirt!

-Sorry about the dust! haha when I watched these clips I was suddenly inspired to dust and clean my machines ;)
