Nebraska's head coach joins Nebraska Public Media ahead of her second season in Lincoln to talk about the pressure of being the preseason No. 1 team, the new Big Ten format, the five-for-five rule and the players making big strides this offseason.

Busboom Kelly also discusses Nebraska's high-profile non-conference opportunities, including games at Wrigley Field and AT&T Stadium and a matchup with Texas in Las Vegas.

And beyond volleyball, she opens up about one of her biggest personal challenges: balancing life as the head coach of the nation's No. 1 team with being a mom of two young boys.

For Busboom Kelly, the path to a championship starts with three priorities: staying together, becoming a great serving team and continuing to develop the offense.

“State of Volleyball” goes beyond the scores to explore the athletes, coaches, stories and communities behind Nebraska’s passion for volleyball. New episodes will stream live monthly (on the 3rd Thursday of every month) through May 2027, with collegiate volleyball taking center stage during the first half of the season and professional volleyball coverage joining the series in the spring.
