In this second video of my FEM Graphical User Interface (GUI) series, I walk you through the key features currently available in the tool, which is being developed in C++ with a modern interface.
🔹 We start by loading a STEP geometry and meshing. Also tweaking code for meshing!
🔹 Then, we generate a mesh and preview it in solid view.
🔹 Next, I show how to define a simple elastic material.
🔹 We run the simulation using my SPH (Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics) solver, and finally…
🔹 We open and visualize the results directly within the GUI.
This GUI is still under active development. One of the key features still in progress is the automatic writing of input files, which for now is handled manually or partially.

Will be used for preparing inputs for solvers

🧠 I also explain the C++ code that makes this workflow possible, including how STEP loading, mesh visualization, and solver integration are being implemented.
