📋 Ingredients (3 Servings):
Chicken:
• 600g Chicken Breast, sliced horizontally
• 2 tsp Sweet Paprika
• 1 tsp Cayenne or Chili Flakes
• 1 tsp Garlic Powder
• 1 tsp Onion Powder
• Salt & Pepper
Binder:
• 90g Egg Whites (≈40g used)
• 6g Cornstarch
• 1 tsp Sweet Paprika
• 1 tsp Cayenne or Chili Flakes
• 1 tsp Garlic Powder
• 1 tsp Onion Powder
Coating:
• 80g Cornflakes, crushed (≈60g used)
• 6g Cornstarch
• 2 tsp Sweet Paprika
• 1 tsp Cayenne or Chili Flakes
• 1 tsp Garlic Powder
• 1 tsp Onion Powder
Sauce:
• 120g Low-Fat Skyr or Greek Yogurt
• 20g Light Mayo
• 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
• 1 tsp Mustard
• (Optional) 10g Sriracha for a spicy kick
Build:
• 3 Burger Buns
• 3–6 Leaves of Iceberg Lettuce
👨🍳 Instructions:
1️⃣ Slice your chicken breasts horizontally so they fit perfectly on the buns. Season with paprika, cayenne, garlic, onion, salt & pepper.
2️⃣ Whisk together the egg whites, cornstarch, and spices for the binder.
3️⃣ In another bowl, mix crushed cornflakes, cornstarch, and the same spice blend for the coating.
4️⃣ Dip the chicken into the egg mixture, then coat fully with the cornflakes.
5️⃣ Lightly spray with oil and cook:
• Air Fryer: 190°C for 15–18 min (flip halfway)
• Oven: 200°C for 20–25 min (flip halfway)
6️⃣ Mix all sauce ingredients until creamy and smooth.
7️⃣ Toast your buns, spread a layer of sauce, add crisp lettuce, the golden chicken fillet, a little more sauce on top — then close it up and get ready for that perfect bite.
