In this video you will learn how to determine the UI characteristic of components by measuring current and voltage.
In two experiments, we first determine the characteristic curve of an ohmic resistor and then the non-linear characteristic curve of a light-emitting diode.
We discuss the significance of the characteristic curves for the use of the two components in practice and I show you how you can linearise the characteristic curve of non-ohmic components piece by piece with the differential resistor.
