It was my first time to travel to Cebu, Philippines, and I was doing it all by myself!! With top-notch marine biodiversity in the Coral Triangle, Cebu has been a paradise for diving and snorkeling. In this 3-day trip, I'm taking you with me to Mactan Island, from where we go on an island-hopping tour, swimming among a team of fish and enjoying delicious barbeque on a serene beach. The next day, we're doing a scuba diving refresher course, designed for people who haven't dived for a long time. The last time I dived was 4 years ago and I was really nervous about that. The instructor gave me a test on the basic knowledge of scuba diving, reminded me of a few techniques, and then we went for a fun dive. It was great until I found my mouth filled with seawater and couldn't breathe at all. I was scared and kept showing the instructor that I couldn't breathe. However, he could do nothing other than gesturing me to breathe slowly. I was struggling and kept pressing the purge button, but the water still couldn't be cleared from my mouth... Though that was a terrifying experience, it didn't stop me from loving the underwater world. I hope you will like the vlog as much as I enjoy the trip!
