As much as they love their foster, we just want these boys to go to their forever home! They have been with us since May!

Amigo was adopted from Whiskers two years ago — and about a year later, his best buddy Paco joined the family. From the very start, they were inseparable — true best friends in every sense.

Then life threw them a curveball. Amigo developed a serious medical issue, and although his loving owner did everything she could, she faced a financial crisis and couldn’t afford the urgent care he needed. With a broken heart, she made the selfless decision to return both boys to Whiskers so we could help.

Thanks to our amazing supporters (you may remember our fundraiser for him!), Amigo received the lifesaving surgery he needed — a Perineal Urethrostomy, which makes his urethra wider and shorter so he should never block again. He’s fully recovered, back to being his sweet, snuggly self, and now just needs to stay on prescription urinary food. Paco can either share it or have his own regular diet — whatever works best for you.

Their foster says both boys are incredibly loving and affectionate — he can hold them like babies and even kiss their bellies! Paco especially loves to sleep under the covers with you.

Now these two are ready for their second chance at forever — together.

Important notes:

Amigo must remain on prescription urinary food. Paco does not require it, but can eat it if it is easier.

Amigo doesn’t like other cats (except Paco), so they’ll need to be your only feline family members.
