Royal Enfield has rolled out a new motorcycle base on one of their most popular models - the Thunderbird X. Where the regular Thunderbird is a RE's take on a cruiser motorcycle, the new Thunderbird X makes things more city and street focussed.
Royal Enfield's first new motorcycle for 2018 is out. Based on the current Thunderbird, the 500X and its smaller cousin, the 350X is a street bike, an 'urban explorer' if you will. The primary change is aesthetic. The bottom half of the motorcycle has been studiously been given a black shade, some matte surfaces, mostly gloss. The tank is the contrast element - our test bike is a vivid orange and you will also see three other colours. New handlebars, a new seat and alloy wheels complete the story of the Rs 1.98 lakh motorcycle (ex-showroom).
