Ireland’s Vanishing Triangle, an 80-mile area outside of Dublin where in the decade between the late 80s and late 90s, quite a few women vanished and the police investigation did not come up with many answers.


To get a head start, there is a documentary on YouTube called “Missing: Beyond Ireland's Vanishing Triangle    • MISSING: Beyond Ireland's Vanishing Triangle   but you need to access Sky Documentaries and pay for the month to get the two episodes.

You can also watch the new crime series called “The Vanishing Triangle” which has mixed reviews and is a fictionalized take on the cases (but not actually about the particular cases; it is more an emotional dramatization of about how the police fail to care about missing women). It is on Amazon Prime for free and I am not sure where else. PS. I finished watching it and it had the typical serial killer chases reporter/detective/profiler. The police would never have let the reporter tag along to crime scenes and the reported and police do incredibly stupid things that just make one's eyes roll. I can't recommend it and it really doesn't shed any light on the real cases.

The better choice though is “Six Silent Killings: Ireland’s Vanishing Triangle.” It is on SKY and available though NOW. (In the US you need to use a VPN).
