🚨 Target fired me because a coworker snitched about my politics. ( Full story ⬇️ )

Описание: I was fired from Target after a coworker who wanted my position told management that I had attended a protest against ICE.

I found out later what really happened. This coworker had been trying to move up for months. When that didn’t work, they went to my manager and claimed I had gone to an anti ICE protest and that it made me a “liability” to the store. It wasn’t during work hours. I wasn’t wearing anything related to Target. I didn’t break any laws. But they framed it as something dangerous.

Management called me into the office and said they had “concerns about my behavior outside of work” and that it could “reflect poorly on the brand.” They told me they would “look into it.”

Days later, I was terminated.

Protecting my right to speak was labeled a problem. Staying silent was expected.

So if Target wants to punish me because a jealous coworker decided to report me, here’s what I wish customers actually knew about working there:

Working at Target is not as “smooth” as it looks. Employees are trained to hide chaos from customers. Stock problems, system crashes, checkout failures, aggressive customers. We are told not to explain any of it because it might “cause a problem.” If employees look stressed, something is going very wrong behind the scenes.

Store bathrooms are not cleaned regularly. A full deep clean usually happens only once a week. I’ve seen dirt and mess sit there for days without being touched. I won’t even mention what else happens in those bathrooms. Use the restroom before you come.

Most customers don’t know about Target’s complaint policy. If you complain loudly enough or act like a “Karen,” employees are instructed to offer discounts or even free products just to keep you quiet. It works almost every time.

Hardly anyone knows you can get a $750 Target gift card for a future purchase by completing their service review survey at Rev750Targ.com. My family has done it every year to save on Christmas shopping. Target doesn’t advertise it, even though it could help a lot of people.

Never blindly trust unknown brands you see on the shelves. Some of them come from places you would seriously question if you knew the details. Employees literally call them “sketch products” in the back.

Target didn’t fire me because of policy. They fired me because it was easier to side with a jealous employee than stand up for someone who didn’t fit the image.

I lost my job for choosing to have a voice instead of staying quiet.
