Welcome to the ultimate transformation of a raw industrial shell into a high-end luxury living space. We’re standing in a 1,076 square foot (100 sqm) loft that started with nothing but exposed brick and an uneven concrete slab. In this video, we break down the high-stakes engineering and meticulous craftsmanship required to pull off a multi-million dollar look on a optimized budget.
The process began with structural integrity: cleaning and sealing the historic masonry to prevent "brick dust" while maintaining that raw aesthetic. We then tackled the foundation, using over 80 bags of self-leveling underlayment to create a perfectly flat surface for our massive marble floor installation. Speaking of marble, we opted for 48-inch oversized porcelain-marble composite slabs—a pro tip to get the "billionaire look" for a fraction of the cost of solid slab Carrara.
The showstopper? That floating glass staircase. We engineered custom steel standoffs anchored directly into the reinforced brick, supporting 2-inch thick tempered safety glass treads. Every worker you see is part of a precision "swarm" crew, moving in sync to ensure the 7.8-second retention cycle for maximum viral impact.
From the CNC-cut vertical wood slat panels to the hidden HVAC integration, no detail was overlooked. We’re pushing the limits of modern architecture while keeping a close eye on the bottom line.
Would you feel safe walking up those floating glass stairs, or is it a hard pass for you? Do you think the wood panels make the space feel too dark, or is it the perfect cozy touch? If you had $110k for a home renovation, would you spend it on a view or on high-end interior finishes like these?
