Ruben Fleischer, director of the first two Zombieland movies, has confirmed plans for a Zombieland 3 and its planned for release sometime in 2029.

I will admit, I wasn’t a massive fan of the 2019 sequel. I felt it was incredibly underwhelming when compared to the 2009 original, BUT I will try my best and give this next chapter a shot. It’s crazy to think of a movie being released in 2029 when we’re only at the end of 2025 and that when 2029 comes around, it’ll have been 20 years since the first film and 10 years since the second.

Zombieland 3 - 2029.

Zombieland will become a 20 year old franchise.
