Darktide - Surviving a Speedrunner out of pure spite

Описание: It seems quite a few people don't understand why speed running in public darktide games is bad (and also very low skill requirement). There are two main factors to this.

1. Stealth aggro dumping. He is running straight ahead, not killing anything, triggering more and more spawns from both in front of and behind us and then stealth aggro dumping the entire map onto us.

2. Speed running breaks the forward spawns on the map. The speed runner massively benefits from allies still being alive behind him. Director can only spawn so many enemies. As the speed runner collects more enemies, stealth aggro dumps onto us, and triggers additional rear spawns (which aggro us in the back) from running past checkpoints, a tipping point is reached where director can no longer spawn new enemies in front of the speed runner. This allows him to run unimpeded to the end of the map, or the next elevator at least. They don't have to kill anything because of their absurd mobility and stealth. This is exactly why speed running in DT is low skill. It breaks the game.

I flip up the scoreboard near the end. you will notice he has 15-25% of my special and elite kills. This is because he did almost nothing but stealth aggro dump until the final event where he was finally forced to fight something

I ran into a complete tool speedrunning public games. I was hoping he would get downed early and leave but that was not the case. I decided to stay and live out of spite. I did what I could to slow him down in the hopes it pissed him off. We do what we can to troll the trolls.

As he continued to run forward and stealth to drop aggro onto me, his forward pushing also spawned enemies behind me. I did what I could to help the low level guys that got caught up in this jaggoffs BS. His forward pushing also caused them to spawn forward frequently, leaving me alone with all the aggro.

If you see this fool on the US west servers, do yourself a favor and block him.
