This is how you capture Frostallion with ease
Fire dots work very well against Frostallion, a small plateau with campfires in it can be easily placed,just lure him into it. and wait untill his health is low enough to throw spheres. Shouldn't take too long.
The normal fight takes a long time where you need to keep on moving and dodging his attacks,so this is a alternative and effective way.
The good news is, that your building will stay where you build it. So you can repeat this capture trick as many times as you want.
but dissapears on server reset.
Get this legendary ice steed fast! or maybe 10 more times
