The DA100 Ruby is Doug Aldrich's first ever signature amplifier, built around the DNA of the HT Stage 100 and refined through over a year of hands-on collaboration with Blackstar's R&D team. The result is a 100-watt, three-channel EL34 head that covers everything from warm, responsive cleans to the kind of ripping, authoritative lead tones Doug has built his career on with The Dead Daisies, Whitesnake and Dio.

In this video, Steve works through every voice the amp has to offer, exploring the clean channel, both OD channels, ISF tonal shaping, power reduction, and the footswitchable effects loop with adjustable tail lengths via Architect software. The DA412B cabinet, loaded with Celestion Vintage 30s, is running throughout.
