This video covers the PEBL Connections Task. It is a version of a trailmaking test intended to measure executive functions like context switching. The PEBL version is based on an description originally published by Salthouse e tal. (2000).
The connections task was described by Salthouse et al. (2000), originally based on Zahlen Verbindsungs Test, which according to Salthouse was introduced by Oswald and Roth (1978) and has been described in Vernon (1993).
