Heavenly Father,
We come before You today with all of who we are — the good, the messy, the parts we are not proud of. We confess that there are times when we have done the right thing with the wrong heart. Times when we have walked east — away from Your will — even while claiming Your name. We ask You to search us, know us, and lead us back. Help us not just to do what You say, but to want what You want. To love what You love. To care about the people You care about. Forgive us for the times our emotions have driven us further from You instead of closer. We trust that You are gracious, You are compassionate, You are slow to anger, and You are abounding in love. And we are grateful that Your character never changes, even when ours does. Restore us, renew us, and keep us close to You.

In Jesus’ mighty name we pray, Amen.
