Ladies,

So you all know I recently applied my custom lace frontal closure wig for the 1st time using the infamous Ghost Bond Glue.    • Видео  


I know there is a lot of videos praising the ghost bond glue or videos on how to "safely remove" the ghost bond glue from your lave frontal or just safely remove the glue fro your hair but let me just say this if you want to wear lace frontal wigs as a PROTECTIVE style then don't even bother.

These lace wigs - when used with serious glues like bold hold or more specifically ghost bond glue are literally designed to be waterproof ! you have to use 91% alcohol to prep your skin and for removal.


Now if you are a 4c natural hair woman like me , you already know using alcohol on your scalp sounds CRAZY! But I was willing to give it a shot.



First, when i applied the glue it made me look like I just had botox - when I say it has grip and snatch, I mean it in every sense of the word!

When I took it off , I had to drown my scalp in alcohol , and my skin was discolored - im sure you have seen at least some photos of people skin looking raw and lightened because of the chemical makeup in the ghost blond glue


Don't get me wrong I will still rock a lace front wig and definitely a lace closure - see how I apply those , using only needle and thread:    • HOW TO:  Install  Lace Closure Middle Part...  

However, I took it down ( I actually still have some residue of the ghost bond glue still left on the side burns, its almost impossible to take it down without losing a few strands of hair. And I need every last strand I have to stay attached to my scalp!) and reapplied using my good old gorilla snot.

The application lasted 2 days ( which is fine with me because I don't care to sleep in my wigs) and I let my hair relax, removed the old product, and reapplied. It went perfectly.
In short, I feel that at lot of youtubers love to rave and rant about the ghost bond glue - even some instagrammers- but nobody is telling the whole truth....I just wanted to share my opinion. I feel that you can get the same outcome without using harsh products like ghost bond glue. I've seen people use regular gel and spritz mmkay. lol Obviously, if you are doing something physical then you want a stronger hold but I suggest trying different products before jumping on the ghost bond glue or bold hold train.
