How to Enable offline Database support in Citrix Provisioning servers | Citrix PVS |

Описание: In this video, I showed how to enable offline database support in Citrix PVS environment. When offline database support is enabled on the farm, a snapshot of the database is created and initialized at server startup. The Stream Process continually updates the snapshot.

When the database becomes unavailable, the Stream Process uses the snapshot to get information about the Citrix Provisioning server and the target devices available to the server. This process allows servers and target devices to remain operational. However, when the database is offline, management functions and the console become unavailable.

Note: Enable offline database support is not a substitute for a mirrored database setup and provides some resiliency.
