PUNE | मिशन १७ वाहतूक कोंडीवर महापालिकेची मोठी कारवाई, १७ रस्ते होणार ‘सुपरफास्ट’

Описание: पुणे महानगरपालिकेने शहरातील वाढत्या वाहतूक कोंडीवर उपाय म्हणून महत्त्वाकांक्षी “मिशन १७” हाती घेतले आहे. या उपक्रमांतर्गत शहरातील १७ प्रमुख रस्त्यांवर संरचनात्मक तसेच वाहतूक व्यवस्थापनाशी संबंधित सुधारणा करण्यात येणार आहेत. अतिक्रमण हटवणे, सिग्नल सिंक्रोनायझेशन करणे आणि स्मार्ट ट्रॅफिक प्रणाली बसवणे यांसारखी कामे यामध्ये समाविष्ट आहेत. ‘मिशन १५’ पूर्ण झाल्यानंतर आता पुढील टप्प्यातील हे मिशन राबवले जात असून, वाहतुकीचा वेग वाढवणे आणि रोजची कोंडी कमी करणे हा यामागचा मुख्य उद्देश आहे. वाहन नोंदणीतील सातत्याने होणारी वाढ आणि गर्दीच्या वेळेतील प्रचंड ट्रॅफिक लक्षात घेता, तांत्रिक सुधारणा आणि आधुनिक व्यवस्थापनाच्या माध्यमातून पुण्याची वाहतूक सुसह्य करण्याचा प्रशासनाचा प्रयत्न आहे.

Pune Municipal Corporation has launched an ambitious “Mission 17” to tackle the city’s worsening traffic congestion. Under this initiative, 17 major roads will undergo structural and traffic management upgrades, including removal of encroachments, signal synchronization, and smart traffic systems. The project follows the completion of Mission 15 and aims to improve travel speed and reduce daily traffic chaos. With rising vehicle registrations and peak-hour gridlocks, authorities are betting on technology-driven reforms to ease Pune’s traffic burden.
