The goal isn’t to erase the natural character of the wood, but to preserve fracture, void, and movement while bringing everything into a clean, balanced form on the lathe.

A key part of this build focuses on a common challenge in resin work: masking a visible witness line from a second resin pour. I show how I approach the transition during turning and finishing so the final surface reads as seamless, with no visible break between pours.
