In our daily lives, water seems effortlessly within reach turn on the tap, and clear water flows. But where does the first drop we drink truly come from?

這部影像紀實帶你走訪宜蘭員山，追溯粗坑溪的源頭。從雙連埤的山間湧泉出發，穿越再連堤防底部的地下通道，沿著蜿蜒的水脈一路向下，看見溪水如何流經聚落、田野與石縫之間，最終匯入蘭陽溪，成為蘭陽平原生命的血脈。
This visual chronicle takes you to Yuanshan, Yilan, to trace the origins of the Cukeng Creek. From the mountain springs of Ayushan, the journey follows an underground passage beneath the Zailian levee, then winds downstream along the hidden veins of water through villages, fields, and stones until it merges with the Lanyang River, becoming the lifeblood of the Lanyang Plain.

這不僅是一趟自然之旅，更是一場與水的對話。我們以鏡頭觀察季節變化下的水文景象，記錄人與水、地景與記憶之間微妙的連結。當溪流乾涸、當雨來復甦，水的流動提醒著我們：「飲水思源」不只是感念，更是一種理解—理解環境如何養育我們的生活。
This is more than a journey into nature; it is a dialogue with water itself.
Through the lens, we observe the shifting waters across the seasons, capturing the delicate connection between people and streams, between landscapes and memory. When the creek runs dry, and when the rains return,
the flow of water reminds us: “To know the source of the water we drink” is not only gratitude it is understanding how the environment sustains our lives.

粗坑溪從發源地阿玉山開始到進深溝淨水場，全長約25公里(後段10公里是取水口埋管於粗坑溪溪床，之後接粗坑路再接台七線過粗坑橋後，沿台七線接到深溝淨水場)沿途匯流東阿玉山水系、雙連埤水系、紅柴山水系、福山植物園水系，進入下游後匯流冷埤坑溪及化育溪之後匯流入蘭陽溪，這段長度約18.5公里。
