This is the second stop of the 2021 College Bass Tour season on Houghton Lake in Michigan. I fished it with my buddy Kayden, who subbed for my usual partner Alex since he was out of town. We ended up catching a decent little bag and had a ton of fun.

If I'm using a soft plastic of any kind usually, it's an Xzone bait. These things are the real deal and have exploded over the last few years since Brandon Palaniuk won Angler of the Year in 2017. We hopped on the Xzone train shortly after and they have not disappointed one bit.
