In my final match of 2025, I faced a strong opponent, Murat Gürsoy , rated nearly 200 points higher than me (4530 vs. 4720). In the club table tennis world, a gap like that usually guarantees a quick defeat. However, this was one of the tightest matches I’ve played all year.
Despite the loss, I managed to pull off what might be my shot of the year in a rally that pushed me to my absolute limit.
