How to get a job as an IMGs or as a Pre-Med before applying to residency or med school

On this week’s episode of Road to Residency, I’m going to talk about part time jobs as an IMG and how to get them, and also which ones to even apply to.

As stated in the video, the advice only applies to those who can be gainfully employed in the US, meaning you’re either a citizen, a green card holder or a work visa holder.

With that said, the next thing to consider is whether getting a part time job makes sense for you. What are your primary goals/reasons for getting a part time job? Is it to pay for your applications, is it to build experiences that you will not otherwise get during residency? Is it to build connections? There are many reasons why, so you have to know yours.
