This was a very important operation for the Earth Federation Forces to get data obtained through Operation V. However, Zeon's ace, [Char Aznable] learned of the fact and attacked Whitebase, causing Whitebase to descend to North America, not to its original destination, Jabro.
Garma, the commander of the ground forces, launches a fighter interceptor and tries to destroy the Whitebase, which descended on North America.
The White Base group is in a situation where they have to break through the enemy and head for Jabro...
