Blue- ringed Octopus are a common Octopus in Victorian Ocean and bay waters .
Highly dangerous if handled but rarely seen unless you deliberately go looking for them .These Octopus prefer to stay hidden. One interesting difference for this Octopus(apart form being poisonous) , and does set it apart is that Blue ringed Octopus can carry their eggs. This Octopus is deadly but shows it is a dedicated and caring mother.
This video high lights this interesting behaviour. The scenario starts with a loose aluminium (or aluminum) can rocking about the seafloor. In it is a mother blue ring Octopus.
