The Last Dinner Party perform "Mirror", from their UK No.1 debut album “Prelude to Ecstasy”, live at the O2 Victoria Warehouse, Trafford Park, Stretford, Manchester on Saturday 21 September 2024, on the third night of their UK Prelude to Ecstasy tour.
The Last Dinner Party were voted BBC Sound of 2024 in an annual BBC poll of music critics and industry figures to find the most promising new music talent, and were the deserved winners of the BRITs Rising Star award at the Brit Awards 2024. "Prelude to Ecstasy" was shortlisted for the 2024 Mercury Music Prize, losing out to "This Could Be Texas" by English Teacher.
