France fashion week continued on Tuesday with the Autumn and Winter collections from Jean-Louis Scherrer.

Glamourous grey and slinking, shimmering silver were the order of the day at the Grand Hotel in Paris.

The Autumn/Winter haute couture shows in Paris entered it's third day on Tuesday.

On the catwalk at the Grand Hotel were the latest designs from the house of Jean-Louis Scherrer.

The mood of the show was slow, sexy and shimmering with grey and silver the only colours on the designer's palate.

Frenchman Bernard Perris is the designer behind the latest creations which had a thirties feel.

Included in the show was a long-grey quilted parka teamed with a long-billed cap to keep next year's storms at bay.

Perris gave the conservative, crisp wool suit a new twist with sparkling silver accents giving some of the designs a Star Trek feel.

Amidst the grey and silver shimmer was a black velvet cloak topped with a marvellous towering hat.

Popular flamenco and the oriental style were represented in the show but with added sparkle in the same, cool light-grey sparkle.

Gloves and beading added a new glamour to the urban-inspired collection.

Even the finale, the traditional wedding dress, was grey with silver ribbons and a flowing silver train.
