Fatty liver, or hepatic steatosis, occurs when excess fat builds up in the liver. This condition can be asymptomatic or may present with various signs and symptoms. Here are some common symptoms of fatty liver:

Fatigue: A general feeling of tiredness and lack of energy.
Discomfort or Pain in the Upper Right Abdomen: Pain or a sense of fullness in this area can be due to an enlarged liver.
Weight Loss: Unintentional weight loss can occur.
Weakness: General weakness may be experienced.
Enlarged Liver: Detected during a physical examination.
Elevated Liver Enzymes: Blood tests may show elevated liver enzymes (ALT, AST).
Jaundice: Yellowing of the skin and eyes in severe cases.
Swelling in the Abdomen (Ascites): Fluid build-up in the abdomen.
