Описание: Three international businesses sit down with a UK consultant and ask the questions they actually have. A facilities management firm from Germany, a healthcare provider from India, and a civil engineering business from Canada. No sales pitch, no jargon, and the law quoted properly.

The single most valuable thing in this video: under the Procurement Act 2023 you may not need a British company at all to bid for UK public contracts. Section 90 says a contracting authority may not discriminate against a treaty state supplier. Most people advising overseas businesses do not know this, and it changes what is possible.

The most expensive thing in this video: the £90,000 VAT registration threshold does not apply to a business based outside the UK. There is no threshold. Registration is due from your first taxable supply.

WHAT IS COVERED

• Do you actually need a UK company, and the three positions you can be in
• No UK presence, UK establishment and UK subsidiary compared side by side, including who carries the liability
• Form OS IN01, the 1 month deadline and the £124 fee
• Why staff working at a client site does not trigger establishment registration, but premises do
• Section 89 and section 90 of the Procurement Act 2023, and what a treaty state supplier is
• Schedule 9 in full: all 28 agreements, including India, added in 2025
• Section 19(3)(b), the power to disregard a tender from a supplier that is not a treaty state supplier
• Corporation tax: 19%, marginal relief and 25%, and how associated companies cut your thresholds
• The VAT trap that catches almost every overseas entrant
• How to translate an overseas track record into a UK buyer's language
• Four ways through the filed UK accounts problem, including the clarification question almost nobody asks
• Insurance, ISO, Cyber Essentials and sector registration: the gates that are pass or fail
• Social value with no UK footprint, and what you can credibly commit to
• PAYE, right to work checks and sponsor licences
• The fastest realistic route in, and why it is usually not a prime bid
• The order to do all of it in

WHO THIS IS FOR

Businesses based outside the United Kingdom that want to sell here, whether to public sector buyers or private ones. Facilities management, healthcare, construction and civils, technical services, consultancy, staffing.
