Nepal Imposes Customs Duty on India: नेपाल के कस्टम ड्यूटी वाले फैसले पर अब भारतीय विदेश मंत्रालय का बयान सामने आया है। विदेश मंत्रालय के प्रवक्ता रणधीर जायसवाल ने कहा, 'हमें नेपाली अधिकारियों द्वारा एक मौजूदा नियम को लागू किए जाने की रिपोर्ट की जानकारी है, जिसके तहत सीमा पार करने वाले यात्रियों से कस्टम ड्यूटी ली जाती है, यदि वे भारत में खरीदे गए 100 नेपाली रुपया से अधिक मूल्य का सामान अपने साथ ले जा रहे हों।' नेपाल के लोगों को सीमा पार करके भारत से सामान ले जाने में अब तक कभी कोई दिक्कत नहीं आई थी, लेकिन अब उन्हें परेशानी झेलनी पड़ रही है. प्रधानमंत्री बालेन शाह के इस फैसले के खिलाफ नेपाल में विरोध-प्रदर्शन चल रहे हैं। बालेन शाह की सरकार ने कस्टम ड्यूटी (सीमा शुल्क) लागू करने के नियम को नजरअंदाज किया हुआ था, लेकिन अब नेपाल सरकार इस फैसले पर लोगों का विरोध झेल रही है। घिर गए बालेन शाह?
