নতুন সংবিধান প্রণয়ন সময়সাপেক্ষ তাই জুলাই সনদেই বেশি গুরুত্ব দেয়া হচ্ছে। আইন উপদেষ্টা আসিফ নজরুল বলেন, প্রয়োজনে বাহাত্তরের সংবিধানকে ভিত্তি ধরে কাজ করা হবে। তবে এনসিপির আহ্বায়ক বলেছেন, নতুন সংবিধান ছাড়া নতুন বাংলাদেশ গড়ে তোলা অসম্ভব। রোববার রাজধানীর মাতৃভাষা ইনস্টিটিউটে এক আলোচনা সভায় তারা এসব কথা বলেন।
The formulation of a new constitution is time-consuming, so more importance is being given to the July Charter. Legal advisor Asif Nazrul said that if necessary, the work will be based on the 1972 constitution. However, the NCP convener said that it is impossible to build a new Bangladesh without a new constitution.
