There’s a lot of music out there – our remit doesn’t preclude those who are signed, or who otherwise get radio play, but the one uniting factor is that it’s music that should be heard.
Essentially Pop not only reports on all your old and new favourites, but features and promotes up and coming artists.
Essentially Pop is a music website. We focus on unsigned and independent artists, but not exclusively. We believe in promoting music that deserves to be heard. We began in January 2014 and now average over 5,000 hits on our site per calendar month.
We are based in the UK but have writers all over the world. We also write about artists from all over the world.
Quite a number of our artists were featured first on Essentially Pop and have since found fame. This is something we are very proud of.
We work closely with Tradiio & curate a playlist on their site.
