It was 24° clear sky and sunny and a perfect day to go on a winter hike. With that, what a perfect place to go, but Great Bluffs State Park in Southeast Minnesota. It is located halfway between Winona and Lacrosse.
Great River Bluffs State Park has a primitive campground with no electric sites and also has some cart in sites.
There are 2 Scientifuc Natural Areas with very sensitive areas for both flora and fauna (plants and animals) at King Bluff and Queen Bluff, so be sure to stay on the trails
