The Most Stunning E-Bike Ride I Have Ever Been On //Mauvoisin Dam To Chanrion Hut 🇨🇭 Verbier Cycling

Описание: This 30km E-Bike Ride near Verbier , Switzerland is one of my favourite bike rides , mainly because it has such an enjoyable scenery that changed as you ride , from stunning Mountain Views to waterfalls from the above melting glacier far away from gondolas and main roads you will find other cyclists and hikers only.

I highly recommend cycling this route if you are in the area , the bike ride is on the back of the Verbier Cycling Map and the route is listed as Mauvoisin Dam to Cabana De Chanrion (or the Chanrion Hut).

The start of this video is in Mauvoisin which is around 25 minute drive from Bagnes , Le Chable (the lower Cable car to Verbier cycle area) it is possible to cycle from Verbier and potentially avoid a long uphill ride if you plan carefully to cycle along the mountain edge from Verbier.

The Official Route Description ...

You will start your Ride at the foot of the imposing Mauvoisin dam (1,976 metres), the highest arch dam in Europe (250 metres).

After a short climb to the top of the dam, you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the Val de Bagnes. From there, a few twists and turns through the galleries and tunnels of the dam will bring you back into the daylight and you can enjoy a pleasant stroll along the Mauvoisin lake in the heart of the protected area of the Haut Val de Bagnes. From the Vingt-Huit, located at the end of the dam, you will plunge into the heart of a wild nature.

After an athletic ascent of about 01:00, enjoy the terrace of the Cabane Chanrion (2,462 metres) to relax before starting your return to Mauvoisin.
