TOOLS & MATERIALS USED

✂ chipboard (medium weight, 1.5mm thick) - Alexandra uses Grafix https://amzn.to/3QQl7oC
✂ journal pages print on normal paper (or cardstock if you prefer) 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 inch - 21.6 x 14 cm
✂ designs print on normal paper (about 20lb, 75gsm) and on cardstock (about 60lb cover - 160gsm is fine)
✂ glue stick (if you later sew on top)
✂ liquid glue (tacky glue, Fabri Tac,... both can also glue fabric)
✂ strong glue to attach the cover (Alexandra uses UHU All Purpose Adhesive https://amzn.to/4bjMujm)
✂ sturdy fabric (Alexandra uses corduroy)
✂ scrap fabric
✂ fabric scissors
✂ iron
✂ knit elastic 1/2 inch wide (Alexandra uses https://amzn.to/3UQPY6Y)
✂ ruler, pencil, craft knife
✂ scissors
✂ ink & ink blending tool
✂ twill tape or wide ribbon
✂ awl/hole poking tool + mat
✂ two colors of thread + needle
✂ eyelets & (sturdy) eyelet setting tool (1/8 inch - 3mm diameter)
✂ clips
✂ lightweight chipboard (repurposed cereal box type)
✂ scoring board or scoring tool + ruler + mat
✂ painters tape (if lightweight chipboard too small)
✂ ribbons for closure (Alexandra uses seam binding)
✂ thin acetate sheets

✂ small beads (Alexandra uses size 6/0 beads = 3x4mm)
✂ small piece of leather
✂ corner rounder punch
