Описание: Check out this new video and hear from Bruck Lab PhD student Rachel Hamrock. Working with Dolphin Quest Bermuda, Rachel is studying kin recognition in dolphins. While most mammals use smell to figure out who they are related to, dolphins lack that sense. As a result scientists are interested in figuring out if and how dolphins know who kin are as that information is useful to avoid inbreeding as well as direct support to others who share their genes.
