This famous B-3 “Bomber Jacket WWII Edition P-51 Mustang” from Battle Britain of USAAF and of RAF began service life in 1936 looking very much differently from the typical B-3 Flight Jackets seen in service after 1941.

This B-3 Flight Jacket is an accurate reproduction from a vintage example produced at Scott Field Air Depot (S.F.A.D.) in 1937. It’s a rarity among B-3 Flight Jacket, looking very different from the typical B-3 Flight Jackets.

This is the 3rd generation of this jacket style, now featuring Brown sleeve reinforcements and trim with an overall significantly more subtle, vintage Time-Wear. The Top Grain Suede Leather that is famously light, durable, and graciously supple.

Our Top Grain Suede Leather in color Matte Beige is also specially treated to make it resistant to water, gasoline, oil, and dirt. All trim leather and arm reinforcements are made of goatskin, as per original spec. (some jackets had sleeve reinforcements and trim from horsehide).
