NEW CHARGES: Woman charged with impersonating nurse, accused of taking sedative from patient

Описание: Metro Police have confirmed to FOX 17 News that Marissa Jean Denton, who was previously charged with impersonating a nurse at Ascension Saint Thomas Midtown Hospital, is facing additional charges after a separate incident at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

According to a statement from Metro Nashville Police Department spokesperson Don Aaron, Vanderbilt Police issued two new warrants for Denton. The new charges stem from an alleged incident on September 15, when Denton entered a critical care unit on the 6th floor of the hospital, dressed in blue medical scrubs, posing as a nurse. MNPD says she unlawfully accessed a patient’s room and removed 100 milliliters of propofol without authorization.

Denton is being charged with theft and impersonation of a licensed professional.
