This week I’m getting ready for spring in small, imperfect ways.
I’m starting seeds, tidying pots, planting rhubarb, and doing the quiet jobs that make the growing season feel real — even though it’s still cold, wet, and very much winter outside.
I’m learning as I go, trying new flowers for the first time, and following books rather than experience — so this is very much a journey rather than a guide.
Gardening has been giving me something to look forward to this season, and I wanted to document the beginning before anything really happens.
