A third-degree fire that broke out around 3 AM at a yarn factory in Karachi’s Landhi Export Processing Zone continues to burn despite hours of firefighting efforts.
Twelve fire tenders from the fire brigade and Rescue 1122 are on site, working to control the flames and prevent the blaze from spreading further. One adjacent factory has been partially affected, while factory workers are helping move goods to safety.
No casualties have been reported, and authorities say an investigation is underway to determine the cause.
