For more information on Prester John check out Robert Silverberg's “The Realm of Prester John”. It has been out of print for some time but a little scouring of the interwebs should reveal a copy or two available for purchase. Toby Lester also mentions Prester John quite a bit in his work "The Fourth Part of the World".
