The Constitutional Implementation Oversight Committee, in partnership with the Riana Development Foundation, has embarked on developing oversight tools and structured planning for constitutional audits as the country approaches the 2027 General Election.

The watchdog organizations emphasized the need for heightened constitutional vigilance and stronger parliamentary oversight. Speaking during the event held to train the Parliamentary Secretariat, Senior Counsel Charles Kanjama called on the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission to fast-track the boundary review process to avoid gaps ahead of the polls.
