Layout engineers play an important role in ensuring the health and safety of hand fallers and other workers. This video illustrates the hazards that layout engineers may identify during their planning process, and explains how these risks can be reduced through cutblock design. The video also highlights the value of communication and collaboration between engineers and harvest crews.
