How to turn your roving or combed top into a fiber braid

Описание: This is one of the very basics that you should know if you plan to spin or felt your own fiber. This process is super simple -- you create a "braid" of fiber by making a simple crochet chain. This allows for super easy storage and makes your fiber look beautiful while it is not being used. I recommend drafting out your fiber a tiny bit if you feel that it is compact or on the verge of felting, that way it will stay nice and loose while it's braided. Never use three strands to braid your fiber again! With a simple pull, the braid will come loose and allow you to use it without all of the hassle that you get with traditional braids.
